About the Roof
In 2002 the Original Tin Roof opened near Nashville’s famed Music Row to give musicians a place to play and a place to hang when they weren’t on stage. The tasty food, fun, eclectic environment, community of Regulars and friendly Crew quickly established the Roof as the place to be for musicians and non-musicians alike. Over the years, our stages have hosted the famous, the should have been famous, and everyone in between.

We are located at 1516 Demonbreun St in Nashville near Music Row on Demonbreun Hill surrounded by other restaurants, bars, hotels, high rise offices & residences, local universities and everything else that Midtown Nashville has to offer just a short 1-2 miles from downtown. Visit our sister location downtown at 316 Lower Broadway

There’s always something happening at the Roof! Weekend nights are legendary and feature live bands on stage playing all of your favorite songs while Nashville’s best DJs spin dance tunes in our Green Room & Two Bits section. Two sides of entertainment for one amazing night!

We’re famous for our live music, but we also serve delicious ‘Better Than Bar Food’! Quesadillas, sandwiches, the best wings in Nashville & more have made the Roof a popular lunch, happy hour & dinner spot for two decades!
